Inspired by Stones

When I was a child I used to search the shores of Lake Michigan with my family, seeking Petoskey stones.  It was always exciting to find any interesting stone.  Today those stones bring about many feelings and thoughts about those days in Leelanau's Sleeping Bear.

Looking at my life is like walking on a beach full of stones.  Some stones are big and round, some stones are beautiful in color, some stones are plain, some stones are small, some stones are flat and jagged, and some stones I keep in my aloe.

I am inspired by all of the stones.
